OTTAWA – Lifesaving/Sauvetage Canada, the national organization that manages lifesaving sport for the Lifesaving Society, today announced the release of their official website: www.lifesavingsport.ca.

The website www.lifesavingsport.ca, will feature a variety of information including a national competition calendar, the latest news, past competition results, Canadian records, information about the National Lifesaving Team, and other sport related information. New content will be added on an ongoing basis. The site also features a subscription based newsletter and an RSS feed for lifesaving sport enthusiasts who want the latest scoop.

Lifesaving/Sauvetage Canada would like to encourage all provincial branch offices to create a prominent link to www.lifesavingsport.ca on their branch website and to direct all sport news and information to Lifesaving/Sauvetage member communication Chair Craig Durling at craig@durling.ca.

When complete, Lifesaving/Sauvetage Canada’s website will be available in both French and English.
