The 2009 Nova Scotia Surf League season has kicked off with a bang. Competitors from around the province showing up in numbers at Melmerby Beach to start the season off. Dalplex Tigersharks won the day with both Male and Female teams topping the charts, while HRM was in a short second with the North Shore Cape Breton Threshers rounding out the top three.
