Dalplex Tiger Sharks come out on top through the second round of the 2009 NSLS Surf League.
The competition was held Saturday, July 18th at Rissers Beach Provincial Park. The weather did nothing to dampen the spirits of the competitors as over 30 participants braved the rain to showcase their athletic abilities. The start of the competition saw the Western Province Hammerhead men come out strong in the Surf Swim taking four of the top five positions, but soon fell behind a more balanced Dalplex Tiger Sharks team. HRM came through with another strong competition and keeps pace with Dalplex on the overall rankings with only a 70 point gap to overcome.
