The first Junior Guard Competition for the summer of 2009 was a success with twenty Junior Athletes braving the jelly fish of Melmerby Beach on the North Shore of Nova Scotia. Maskwa Aquatic Club came out of the day on top by a slim margin over the Waegwaltic Aquatic Club with HRM following for third place.
The next competition will be held at Rissers Beach on August 8th 2009.
