The second round for the Junior Guards for the summer of 2009 was held on Saturday August 8th at Rissers Beach. It was a beautiful day for the competition with the sun shining and the athletes enjoying a day at the beach. The home junior guard team took the day with NSLS Rissers team with 863 points over Maskwa and HRM rounding out the top three.

This was the second competition for the Junior Guards this summer and for the combined team scored Maskwa took the top spot with NSLS Rissers in second and Waegwaltic club coming in third.
