The Lifesaving Society is calling for expressions of interest from senior volunteers or staff to fill the position of Chef de mission to be the head of the Canadian delegation attending Rescue 2010 in Egypt.

The responsibilities and duties of the Chef de Mission are described in some detail in the job description. The position not only covers the area of sport but all dimensions of the Canadian delegation. At this time, the position does not come with any tangible benefits, nor does the National Branch cover any costs associated with the functions of the Chef de Mission. It is critical that to this position be fully supported by the Branch.

Individuals interested in fulfilling this role in Egypt are requested to indicate by email their interest to David Moore at dmoore@lifesaving.ca. David will compile the names and bring them forward to the Lifesaving Society Council of the Branches for consideration.
