Call for Applications for Positions on the Lifesaving Sport Commission

The Lifesaving Society Sport Commission invites applications for the positions of:

- Sport Development Chair (Athlete Services)
- Anti-doping Chair (High Performance)
- CPLC Chair (Event Management)
- Support Services Manager

The term of office would be until May 2012. The job descriptions are attached for review.

Chair, Sport Development – Athlete Services Activity Centre is responsible for initiatives to access and build resources to build capacity across the country.

Chair, Anti-Doping – High Performance Activity Centre is responsible for WADA and athlete education and testing.

Chair, Canadian Lifesaving Pool Championships (CPLC) – Event Management Activity Centre is responsible for coordinating the annual CPLC championships and supporting the host.

Manager, Support Services is responsible for supporting committee chairs for:
- National membership database, volunteer activity records, scoring and registration management and Canadian records
- Volunteer personnel
- Member fees, License fees, sanctioned fees, entry fees
- Product and merchandise sales
