The Lifesaving Society, Canada's lifeguarding experts, is proud to announce that the 2009 Commonwealth Lifesaving Championships has been awarded to Canada and will be hosted in beautiful Edmonton, Alberta.

The top athletes from the Royal Life Saving Society's Commonwealth nations will come together in Edmonton to race for lifesaving supremacy from June 12 to 14, 2009.
