Nickerson to coach Canada at RLSS

Lifesaving/Sauvetage Canada is pleased to announce the name of the National and Development Team Head Coach for the upcoming Commonwealth Lifesaving Championships that will be held from 27 September to 1 October 2011 in Durban, South Africa.

The team will be coached by Sean NICKERSON from Edmonton, Alberta. Sean has an extensive track record as an athlete, a swim coach and a lifesaving sport coach and team manager. He currently sits as the Athletes Services Manager on the National Sport Commission. As Lifesaving Sport Director for the Alberta and Northwest Territories Branch, Sean has had a prime role in building athletes in Alberta. There will be 6 athletes from Alberta on the National and Development Teams for the Championships.
