2011 RLSS Commonwealths underway
With a welcoming message Wednesday, the RLSS vice-president kicked off three days of competition among RLSS Commonwealth Lifesaving teams in Durban, South Africa.
Canada has 20 athletes, eight officials and four support staff on the ground in Durban until Oct. 1, 2011, representing Lifesaving / Sauvetage Canada. Information on the delegation can be found on the RLSS competition page that's a part of this website.
The RLSS Commonwealth page for this competition can be found here.
Swim events get underway Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011.
The Lifesaving / Sauvetage Canada support team will do its best to update this website from Durban on a daily basis with information highlighting the performances of Canadian team members. Please be patient with us as Internet connectivity in Durban is spotty.
