The results from the preliminary round for the Canadian teams during the first day of competition at the 2011 RLSS Commonwealth championships are available. Complete results are available here.

The Canadian women's team set a new unofficial Canadian record in the 200m obstacle relay during the preliminary round Thursday morning, clocking a time 2:03.41, beating the previous record set in 2008 of 2:04.29. Congratulations to Brittany Shaw, Jennifer Ellison, Marie-Eve Chamberland and Gail Findlay-Shirras.
