2011 RLSS Commonwealths - Four medals on the final day
The Canadian teams won four medals on the final day of competition at the 2011 RLSS Commonwealths championships in Durban, South Africa.
Congratulations to Gail Findlay-Shirras, who won gold, set a new Canadian record and tied the Commonwealth record in the 100m manikin tow with fins. Ian Leitch won bronze in the same event for Canada's second medal of the day.
In the Simulated Emergency Response Competition (SERC), Canada's National Team placed third behind Australia and Northern Ireland, with the development team placing second behind Australia.
