The ILS has made a call for applications for Chief Referees and Deputy Referees to officiate at Rescue 2008, the World Lifesaving Championship.

Interested applicants must complete the attached form and submit it to the Chairman: Event Management Committee, ILS Sports Commission by January 3, 2009. Appointments will be made by the ILS Sport Commission, at their meeting at the end of January, 2009. Before a Canadian appointment is finalized, the ILS Sport Commission will obtain the necessary endorsement from the Lifesaving Society Canada. All applicants will be advised if they have been successful or not. All receipts of applications forms will be acknowledged.

The ILS hopes to call for applications for all other official positions for Rescue 2010 in March 2009.
